I originally bought these for camping but they have gotten more use with night golf as my friends and I have started going after work more. All of my friends are jealous and ask for my help all round long, they all talk about how they need to get one, and battery has lasted quite well so far, will update.

Head band easily adjustable. Light has 3 different brightness levels plus a flasher. It is also easily adjustable to shine down when you are walking or trying to do some detailed work and need a bright light, leaving your hands free. Would recommend!

I spend several days or weeks off the grid, and needed something reliable to replace an older headlamp I had which had cracked thanks to my girlfriend dropping it on a rock. These were shockingly bright, but with the adjustable settings, quickly dimmed down to a more reasonable level. I used one of these and brought the other as a spare on my last trip out, during which time we saw snow and a temperature drop to 10 degrees F. This little headlamp healed up superbly well, and after 5-6 hours of continuous use, saw no sign of running out of battery.

This is a great little headlight would definitely recommend it to anyone that likes doing anything in the outdoors use it on my kayak trip came in very handy , I love the light options.

My son and grandson each wore one during the blackout, so I bought 2 for us. No blackout here, but they are great for reading in bed.

We recently used this when we had a power outage, it is so easy to lay in bed and read hands free. I gave the second one to a kid who works in a stable and has to clean runs in the dark at this time of the year. He was thrilled to be able to work hands free.

It has great brightness but no night vision and havent gone thru any batterys yet so therefore still testing out the battery life but would still give this product a 5 star.

So far works good for doing low light projects. Also good for moving through woods at night while going in and out to stand.

I was pleasantly surprised with how bright these headlamps are. I just went camping with them and the lowest setting was more than enough for walking around the campground at night, playing cards, etc. The red light feature is separate LEDs that are definitely much less bright but still decent. The headband is adjustable and the light has a tilt to point at the ground or straight ahead. It was great getting two for this price, my son was thrilled to have the same headlamp as me.

Appears to be well made. The lights are brite. I bought it due to the fact that it has regular white light and red light for night vision that I can use for night photography. Another good thing is you do not have to cycle throughout white to get to red and vice versa. The head band size is for adults. A little on the large side but you can adjust it down. I had to adjust it almost to the end to get it small enough to fit. Once I did that it fit perfectly. The headlamp itself is adjustable to set at different angles up or down as needed.

Our lights went out the other day and I grabbed the headlamps and placed one on my daughters head and one on mine, and WoW! We love these things. We were able to walk about the house and use both of our hands to get done what we needed to get done. Lite the whole room.

Perfect for night fishing

I use this for up close examination of all my houseplants to keep an eye on any big infestations. I look like a crazy person but it works really well! You can tilt the light at multiple angles which is helpful too.

This headlamp flashlight works really well. It is bright to use for almost any needs you have. I bought it for occasional blackouts and for using while crocheting with dark colors. Everything was perfect out of the box. Inserted 3 Duracell in each and operations are perfect. Just went out in the dark and at the highest setting the light throws a good 50 feet with just enough spread of the beam. One at this price would be great. Two is ridiculous. Buy just to have in case of power loss or whatever.

These headlamps are awesome! The low setting is bright enough at night when camping and the high setting is great for even more visibility. Headband is comfortable and having up to 60 degrees of angle is perfect for visibility of where you are walking, or to see straight ahead. Love that you dont need to go through each setting after about 5 seconds on each setting to turn it off. (Click to your desired brightnesss, wait five seconds, click again and its off). Feels sturdy and trustworthy as a primary light source in dark conditions

This thing is bright, I may have mentioned that. The band fits good, the battery cover fits snug and the power button feels solid, but above all, thing is bright.

When I received the headlamps one of them was dead on arrival. I contacted customer service and they shipped a replacement lamp to me right away. The new one works great.

I use as headlamp for camping fits very comfortably and lights up the darkest trail.

My lights went out and forgot to use this flashlight but will next time. I live in CA so I know I will need to use it.

The vendor states these headlamps are waterproof. They are not! Do not withstand even the light consistent sprinkle for 10 minutes. If you are looking for headlamp that is not waterproof this will work for you. The light is bright but the headband itself becomes loose very easily. Does not secure tightly on your head for very long.

Bought this to use for some under-house improvement work and for camping. The white lights work well, the various levels of brightness are good, the switch is easy to use and the lamp aiming mechanism works well. Overall quality appears to be good, the head strap holds enough tension to not slip, the battery compartment works well and so far at least - with about 2 weeks worth of use - battery life is fine.

The big disappointment is the red LED light. The one setting that provides a steady light is barely adequate for use in a known safe area. I would be very hesitant to rely on this for moving at night in unfamiliar or dangerous terrain. The red LED has three settings, steady, SOS and strobe. And while I can think of one or two kinds of situations a red SOS or strobe might be useful, I can think of many where a brighter steady red beam would be very useful.

So far, the red light works OK in the sense of it comes on, is reliable, etc. But it is nowhere near bright enough. The rest of this light is performing well for me so far, the red light dragged the overall rating down.

i had it a little over a year. red lights stopped working after about 6 months. white light still worked so i kept using it for a while. they both stopped working at some point :P

Cheap lights to throw batteries in and get the job done. Quite uncomfortable on the forehead however. Batteries not included, also, the light stopped working at one point and I had to flex the plastic to get it back on.

White light is plenty bright, but if you need a red lamp, keep looking. I wanted red to sneak in and out of woods to deer stands. I can barely see my toes. No good for dark woods navigation.

This head lamp would have been great had the strap adjuster not broke. On the second camping trip where it was used, the strap adjuster stapped while on my head. Was used by an adult only, and stored in the original box while not in use (at home and during camping). Dissapointing!

Product description says that it comes with two headlamps but only received one.

Its a 50 % chance that both work. Disappointed.

I use the headlamp early morning to jog. After the sun comes up I turn it off witch has been working for the last few months. Now after I turn it off, set it down and come back later it is on. To remidy this issue I remove one battery.

No problem with light, but the plastic pieces that hold the band together broke with very little force. Disappointed.

It broke as soon as I tighten the strap.

Those 2 headlamps were far from being bright enough to provide enough night vision. I wear them just for the cars to see me when I ride bikes at night. They do save batteries, though.

I used this for my first night time running ever. I had a leg in the Hood to Coast, and put it over my hat, angled the light and it was PERFECT in illuminating the street ahead of me and I had low setting!

I bought these because of the price. And in case I broke them. I gave one to a buddy that's refurbishing a home and is crawling around under the house and in electrical panels. I've been using mine for small jobs like working on computers. I'm really surprised how bright and how well these work.

Easy to use Good light last long

I tend to like headlamps as they for your hands up. I’ve had several different models in the past and find the flat against the forehead version big most comfortable. I like this one especially because it seems to shut off of the single button push in the center. Others have to cycle through all the different lights and strobes to get finally to the end.

Very bright and fit on my head well. ( adjustable straps) I finally get to use it in my night hike and it performs well for the 4 hours I had to walk in the dark. These are great for emergencies or whenever you need a headlamp. I always have a headlamp next to my bed (power outages) and when I travel. These do not have a red light function (however, I have one of those because I'm a backyard astronomer). These are great to throw into your "go-bag" for evacuations, etc.

fine working light, but really a miss on the design that it needs cushion. the hard plastic piece just does not cut it for my forehead. even wearing a beanie for cushion it still presses against my head and hurts after long periods of time. yeah i lossened it but to no effect was it more comfortable. can't make it too loose cuz i need it to not move about. unfortunate

Broke, didn’t last

These things seem well-designed, and they are bright and have good straps - but this has got to be the worst damn button I have ever had on a headlamp. I mean, the button is nice and rubbery and it makes a friendly click -but almost every time I try to turn it on or off (especially off) I have to press the button a dozen times to get it to work. It's super freaking annoying. It's a two pack of headlamps, and I've only used one of them so far - so I'm really, really hoping the second one doesn't have the same problem. The first one worked fine at first, but it didn't take very long for the button to stop being responsive. I'll update this review at some point after I I've tried the second one for a while. But for now I'm fairly disappointed.

One was really hard to turn off and on but I had saved the other as a stocking stuffer gift for our boy. On Christmas we opened it hoping this one worked better and it’s great! We used the batteries from the old one too. We’ve only used it for walking the dogs at night so far and yet to take it camping so not sure about the battery life but I’m sure it’s fine. I’m happy that one worked but I used a 50% off coupon so I didn’t really feel to return them as it didn’t cost much. Not the best buy but that’s okay.

After putting batteries in it and trying it. I returned and bought a more reputable and costly light black diamond is fantastic brand. Don't buy this 2 pack

It was good until the internal mechanisms started to rust away and now it no longer works. I’m disappointed because it didn’t even get wet (no rain or splashes). The only thing I can think of is the humidity, but it’s supposed to be weather resistant. It lasted about 2 months. Maybe I got a defect? I would like to give it 5 stars but unfortunately mine deteriorated early.

No response from vendor- one light works- one doesn't

The light is not as bright as I would like but maybe it is my batteries. The band is easy enough to adjust so that it fits around my head but it won't fit a child's head because I already adjust it to the smallest size and it is just right for my head circumference. If your head circumference is less than 20.5", it won't fit you.

Ordered these a while back and only just recently had to opportunity to try them out. Straight away, the first unit I tried wouldn't work. Brand new batteries and everything, just didn't seem to have any life in it. Okay, it's a 2 pack and the price is reasonable, as long as one of them works I'll be fine. And sure enough, the second one worked like a charm! Brightness is solid, various settings for different use cases are great. Honestly really enjoyed the red light options, worked perfectly around camp without blinding my friends. Overall, would still recommend for the price, just maybe keep the two-pack thing in mind.

I used one for about two minutes and it hasn’t turned back on since. Changed the batteries and everything but to no avail. The other one works fine but I am worried if it would fail on me when I need it the most.

Worked great for a year, just stopped working after light use (purchased 1.5yrs ago but didn't use for first 6 months). Replaced batteries but still nothing. Looks like company is out of business, as their website isn't working.

I really wanted to like these, since they were half the price of most other options. I bought them for the red light to use at night as a way of dealing with my baby without waking her up. Unfortunately, they just weren't bright enough, even for close-range indoor use. They also make an annoying clicking sound when you push the button to turn them on - both makes it feel cheap and makes noise that disturbs the baby. I ended up returning them and will just for out the money for the more expensive headlamp that should be brighter.

I have a hike tomorrow and was excited to have them delivered today only to realize neither of them have the night vision working. They only flip between white low to high and strobing and off. I was going really early in the morning and wanted the night vision as well. Plus the two pack was great as my brother could use it too, however the other one isn’t working - it’s battery compartment doesn’t click/fit, which means batteries may fall off!

I love the idea of this light. Ware on head, hands free. It fit great, but after a few nights of only using for a few minutes each night, light was dull. This was a deal breaker. Sent it back.

Only problem is that it’s not anti slip. So it keeps slipping from my hard hat. After hot gluing it, its better.

My family is planning to do a lava tube hike so I rushed to find a good set of headlamps and purchased this and another one that is rechargeable. These are not bright enough. Even using in a dark room in my house the light isn't very strong. I recommend these more for people that need to be seen when they walk their dog or go on a night jog/walk. Not for you to see but to be seen by passing cars.

Nice headlamps except for one problem: the headlamp is connected to the strap with a flimsy separate plastic piece that will break if you drop the light. I used my two lights a lot over the course of about a year, now both have broken connector piece so they're going into EWaste. I inquired from company if they have a fix but got no response.

I was wearing it for a moment while working and i heard this loud popping which scared the ever living sheet out of me. i opened it up and the battery exploded. i can’t remember exactly which brand it was since this was months ago but i figured it was the battery that caused this. so i kept using the second head lamp. this time i made sure to use duracell and it’s worked for about 2 months. it stopped working one day and when i went to replace the batteries they were leaking. so i’m not sure what it is with these head lamps but the other duracell batteries have not had this issue with my other electronics.
i’m giving it two stars for the price and the fact that i did use it for a decent amount of time.

I have bought 4 of these in the past two years and the clip on the side breaks every time. They probably last 7-12 months and then it cracks apart. If you don't use it often and just need two headlamps, go for it. The brightness is incredible. Just don't expect these to last.

Was sent 2 and one didn’t work. They made it right with the warranty and sent 2 free replacements. They worked great until we went on the trail and both the replacements stopped working. We are now buying a higher quality brand because I need to be able to rely on the headlamps if there is an emergency.

One of the units didn't work right out of the box. Contacted them as directed through their customer service website TWICE and never got a single response. I guess I should be happy that one of the lamps worked. Very disappointed.

We had to improvise with bandaids to hold this headlamp together. Right out of the box, the front piece was not well connected to the rest of the unit. It looked like it should have snapped into place; but it didn't. Disappointed in the quality.

When trying to turn the light on and off or switch through modes the button is unresponsive. It works occasionally and then sometimes I push it 20 times to try to get it to turn on or shut off. Bad product. Do not buy it.

I work on cars as a hobby and I've had a couple of these head lamps I just didn't work. I've been using these for a couple months know and love them. My wife already took one for her projects. Battery life is unbelievable. I'm very happy with these.

These were perfect for out first camping trip. The brightness and battery life are pretty good!

I love how light they are, I've had others that slide down cause they are heavy. The light is bright and it helped us when we were setting up at night.

How did I live without this? It is so easy to use. The light swivels so it can be used in almost any position. All I need is a tool belt and I could hang around Home Depot looking like one of the pros.

Just took camping and worked great

This is a great product. Read the instructions and the 7 functions are easy to use. The bright white is great for work or camping/hiking night activities. The red light functions are great around camp to see while not blinding your camp buddies.

I have not used it yet to tell how well the night vision is. Nor have I used it long enough to rate the battery life. It is an overall quality workmanship for just a few dollars. Well worth it, plus they send two!!

Great light for camping. Just make sure to aim it down. It shows quite a lot of range. I wish there was an option for the light to be softer, but its definitely helpful for seeing at night when camping or in the back yard.

Bought this headlamp to see what I'm grilling when it is dark. Now I have two hands free instead of holding a flashlight. Just bought these this morning and 10/10.

My fiancé and I find ways to use these all the time. Really great for keeping your hands free while still needing light. I use it to take the trash out at night, walk my friend’s dog at night, and even when I was installing some shelves into my kitchen pantry. They are super bright and I love the different brightness settings and the ability to tilt the light at different angles.

We got these for a Texas trip to collect seashells and to see around the camp. They have a nice light output to see clearly about 15'. Not too heavy that they droop or distract. The adjustable angle is a nice touch.

I do like these headlamps because they were cheap! I threw one in the car and the other I leave with my tools in the garage. These worked great when I was crawling around in my friend's attic and my kids and I went camping. I don't expect these plastic headlamps (2) to be as bright or durable as my lithium powered headlamp but my high powered headlamp (1) also cost 4X more. I'm here again to buy another set for my nephew and niece so this is a testament to how much I like them. For those of you who want something better, well, you can pay more then. I often need to fix things around the house that are in a dark or dimly lit place. I found it cumbersom to try to hold a flash light, or hook up a glaring big light. I was behind the dryer trying to reconnect the vent, it was a tight place, and hard to hold the flashlight and a screw driver, hence I ordered these. These are nice and bright, and the headband is stretchy, so it's comfortable, and stays in place. You can also move the positon of the light from straight ahead to down. I was familiar with the GearLight flashlights first. I really liked the quality of them, and that's why I chose this brand of head lamp. This is great for household jobs. If you were a professional you might need a professional type head lamp. But for the average DIY jobs, these are Perfect! I like doing DIY jobs, you don't have to depend on someone else, you might end paying someone who might do a sloppy job. I think these are good quality, as their flashlights are too.

These headlamps have good build quality, and have many settings to give you to proper amount of light you need. I've used these on 1.5 hour long walks in the dark, where I am turning them off and on regularly when I get near street-lighted areas, and back on again in darker wooded areas, and they work perfectly. Couldn't be happier with them.

I believe this headlamp flashlight is an excellent value. Band fits comfortably on my size 8 head, light is exceptionally bright and easily directed to the work. Keeping one in glove compartment should the need arise to change a flat tire at night.

Bought this to take my dogs on walks at night in the summer.
It’s bright enough to pick up their poop and to See objects we should avoid. I even use it to pick up poop in the backyard at night and to look under sinks and dark areas for house chores. Distance of the light is also pretty good for walking and I feel safer knowing I am visible to cars and of course you can’t beat being hands-free! All in all, my expectations are met and i am happy.

Got two of these and one is still in the box. I used it practically every day for a year now to help with putting medicine in animal eyes in low light conditions. It is so handy for extra light that I wear it most of the day and evening. It is part of my everyday gear. And I’m super happy with it. In the past, when doing work in a darker area, I would use a flashlight and hold it with my teeth so that I could use my 2 hands! Not anymore. You know how frustrating it can be when it comes time to turn off your headlamp and you have to cycle through the various brightnesses and the red modes just to get it to turn off?

This one doesn't do that!

Turn it on, cycle to whatever setting you want and if you leave it for 3 seconds or more the next time you press the power button it turns off! Very handy!

I have tried many name-brand lights but nothing workss like this one. Intensity, duration, battery life, weight - everything I look for.

First of all I was surprised about the small formfactor of the packaging. I unwrapped it and tried it out. The head band is very comfortable and soft. It is also very lightweight and the light is so bright. I really enjoy wearing the head light and the first evening run was great. Looking forward to use my new light head band!

Here in the Pacific Northwest, wintry days are long and crossing our street to the mailbox in early evening is a challenge. Opening a mailbox in near darkness while wondering if a little animal might have nested inside is an everyday ritual...until we got this headlight. Bright light helps crossing the dark street and retrieving the mail without also handling a flashlight while carrying a stack of mail and small packages makes getting the mail a breeze. It's also been a nice tool to be able to offer a furnace service person working in a dark closet. His flashlight had died so this bright headlamp saved him. Might be the stimulus for another purchase because he liked it so much.

I bought these headlamps to throw in our 72 hour kits because they were cheap. I wasn't expecting a ton out of them for the price but in an emergency I figured they'd be worth having. This past weekend we went on a camping trip as a family and only my husband had the foresight to bring a headlamp with him. I thought he had brought his more expensive headlamp and we were all very impressed with how well it was working. Imagine how much MORE impressed I was when I went to pack it up and realized it was one of the cheaper headlamps! I came back today to purchase more to keep in our camping gear. Totally worth the cost!

This is super helpful for when I am at work in a dark area. The white light can be very bright when trying to write on white paper, so the red light comes in handy for that!

These are quite handy as they are hands free, works well if you are working on tight spaces. Also great Toft power outages as you have hands free to carry whatever.

They seem to work well. They are bright enough and cast a nice lite in the evening.

I love this light for walking my dog at night. It is very bright, even on the low setting. It allows you to be hands free so you can hold the leash in one hand and still have a free hand for giving treats or picking up his business.

Works great for in the city and for safety on night walks. The beam of light doesn't illuminate very far unless it is on the brightest setting.
